Save the Date: Inauguration

The inauguration invitation was created to publicize the Queens Borough President’s second term inauguration. The first iteration is more cinematic, reflecting the Borough President’s personality and his vision of positioning Queens as a destination for arts and culture. The imagery captures him introducing the Governor’s Ball at Flushing Meadows Park, highlighting his commitment to expanding cultural visibility in Queens. While this version was well received by the client, I was asked to work on a second design that was more traditional and ceremonial. I chose a photo of the Borough President that depicts his warmth and authority as a leader and I paired that with elegant gradients and typography to convey the significance of the event.
